You need bread flour, yeast, eggs (optional), olive oil, water, salt, spices, pizza pan, bowl, cup, spoon, hand towel, mozzarella cheese, vegetables (optional), whatever else you want on your pizza, sugar and or honey.
sauce, crushed tomatoes (optional) (for addition to sauce)
The
very first thing you do is take some yeast a few tablespoons full more
then you think you need add it to warm water.. not hot water because
yeast is alive you can kill it with hot water but warm water activates
it. Mix it together gently with a spoon and set aside. Put the yeast in a cup
to stir it together of course. I also usually add a bit of sugar to it.
Take the flour about 3 or 4 scoops handful into a big round bowl
Make
a little indent in it and start to put in your eggs and spices. Salt +
oregano etc but they don't really show up that well you want to put all
of your spices on top of the pizza or in the sauce rather then the
crust.
Add honey and or sugar to help feed the yeast. It will make your dough grow.
After you do all your dry spices use
WARM water and mix it together also add in the cup full of yeast
quickly. Mix with hands. Don't over work it, but mix it all together
kneading it. Use either more flour if wet. Use more water if too dry.
Mix together until it looks and feels like a giant piece of bubblegum.
Coat in olive oil... not too much.
Take a hand towel and put it in warm to hot water. Place the towel over the dough + bowl.
Leave it alone..
wait for at LEAST a half hour but that's only if your rushing. Ideally you need to let it rise at least an hour and a half.
When its done it should have doubled in size. Preheat the oven to 500 degrees.
Take
the dough and make the pizza on a pizza pan, spread out the pizza
dough. Add sauce spices and cheese + whatever your heart desires. I
like adding honey to it myself.
Bake for 14-15 minuets.
If you make a bit more you can make cheese bread sticks folded over. Also if you want stuffed crust add mozzarella cheese to the crust and fold it over.
